Day 24
Unfortunately, Eric had to work on Thanksgiving, so I took the girls to his sister's house and hung out with his family. They had a great time playing with their cousins all day, and I woke up early to run a turkey trot with his sister and mom. I did NOT want to go because I wasn't feeling well, but I'm really glad I did it because it was a lot of fun, it was a great way to start the day, and it felt good to get some exercise first thing in the morning, especially knowing that I was going to eat so much food for the rest of the day! Poor Eric got sent home from work at midnight last night because he was vomiting all over the place. He slept in the guest room. I'll have to go check on him in a minute - I hope he wasn't up all night getting sick. Doesn't sound like a very pleasant Thanksgiving experience for him.
Day 25
Today I am thankful that I am not one of those crazy shoppers who feels the need to go out in the cold, wait in long lines, and get mixed up with crazy crowds to do Black Friday shopping. I am thoroughly enjoying the coziness of my nice warm bed right now!
